NAPIER
The town dates back 1838. It is called after Sir George Napier, the then Governor of the Cape. The mountains are covered in fynbos.
CALEDON
The town of Caledon was founded in 1813 near hot mineral springs that were first used by Khoi-Khoi tribes. It is named after a former Governor of the Cape, the Earl of Caledon. The Caledon Museum is worth a visit.
