CHAPMAN'S PEAK VANTAGE POINT

Chapman's Peak is one of the world's most spectacular scenic drives. The road on Chapman's peak was built by Italian prisoners-of-war half a century ago and offers some of the most stunning views in the Cape. Even though Chapman's Peak is closed for renovation, visitors can still enjoy a great view of Hout Bay from the observation point.

HOUT BAY HARBOUR

In the past thick forests grew along the mountain slopes giving Hout Bay it's name ("Wood Bay"). Hout Bay is primarily a fishing village. At the Hout Bay Harbour one can visit Mariner's Warf for a seafood shopping experience with a difference. There are a number of restaurants and eateries in Hout Bay harbour. There are at least three launch operators that offer cruises to view the Cape Fur Seals on Seal Island.

LLANDUDNO

Llandudno, where luxury homes line the slopes of the valley that leads steeply to a fine sandy beach. Llandudno is the home of Cape Town's unofficial Nudist Beach - Sandy Bay.
